Creative Outdoor Boudoir Session
I just want to start by saying I am not a morning person. Very few things can get me out of bed early in the morning but when this idea came to me I knew it would be worth it.
I was so lucky that Cheyenne, Anna, and Paige were so supportive of this idea and not only trusted me enough to wake up really early but to walk out into freezing cold water.
This was my first attempt at outdoor boudoir. I was so nervous. I have seen these sessions done extremely well and others are not so hott and more awkward than anything. I had to keep my style in mind at all times but also push boundaries and try new things. I love the trust that these girls put in me for this session because I truly fell in love with so many of the images.
So aside from being freezing cold and soaking wet I faced another challenge. I had three girls all looking to me for direction. I am confident in posing and walking you through different movements but I also needed to make sure that each girl was getting unique images. I needed each one to follow a different series of poses, movements, and facial expressions while being WAY out of my comfort zone of using a bed, hard wood floors, and even my studio walls. Instead we had a sandy bottom of a lake, trees, and rocks.
I think this was shoot really opened my eyes to how much I love shooting outdoor boudoir. I cam imagine doing this with a couple and making it really sexy. Maybe you are more of an outdoorsy girl and want to get wet or dirty. Book your shoot today. The benefit to shooting this so early was complete privacy. You don't have to worry about people watching or being nervous. We had the entire area to ourselves which made it soo nice! I cant wait to do this again.
